509. Lavender grey with russet tones chunky jade bangle

A soft and dusky jadeite bangle in lavender-grey, warmed on one side by russet-brown tones and lit by a small touch of fresh green. The lavender is gently mottled with a fine cotton-like texture all the way round, giving the stone a cloudy, hand-painted look. The band is cut broad and generous, with a rounded outer face. The russet area carries some fine natural speckling and a slightly grainy texture, and there are a few tiny dark specks elsewhere, all visible in the photos and part of the natural character of untreated jadeite. Finished with a smooth, glossy polish.

A generous, earthy piece for someone who likes lavender with a little warmth.
